Wisdom is a precious gift that staggers our imagination!

Wisdom is a priceless treasure that is beyond our comprehension!

To fully appreciate the infinite facets of wisdom, in humility continuously incline your ears to wisdom, apply your heart to understanding, and cry out to God for knowledge.

Only wisdom can save us from the ways of wicked men whose words are perverse, and from the immoral woman with her seductive words. (Proverbs 2:12, 16 ).

Wisdom sets you free to walk with the good, the righteous, and the blameless.

The Lord gives wisdom! From God’s mouth comes knowledge! From the mouth of the Lord comes understanding!

The Lord holds success in store for the upright! God is a shield to those whose walk is blameless! The Lord guards the course of the just! God protects the way of his faithful ones! (Prov 2:6-11)

Continue to search for wisdom, as you would for a priceless treasure. Depend on the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair, then you will walk on every good path (Prov 2:9)

To our surprise, when we find wisdom, we also discover that God has transformed our lives and the way we conduct ourselves at work, with friends and family. When we find wisdom, we find ourselves walking in the ways of the good and keeping to the paths of the righteous (Proverbs 2:20).

When we find wisdom, God gives us a new heart! With this new heart, in faith we can wait with God in quietness and rest.

Solomon in Proverbs 2 instructs us with these words:

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding — indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. (Prov 2:1-5)

Prayer Father, I humbly accept your words. Grant me insight and understanding. Thank you that you guard the course of the just and protect the ways of your faithful ones. Amen.
