Today I choose joy because I know that God has acted to bring me salvation and is acting to save those who put their trust in him.

Today I choose joy in affliction, temptation, ease or prosperity because God has blessed me with hope and endurance. 

Today I choose joy, and I refuse to see any problem as anything less than an opportunity to see God.

Dear Heavenly, gracious, loving Father, Beloved Son Jesus, and comforting Holy Spirit, thank you for your precious gift of salvation. You are the source of my hope. You are my strength. Open my eyes that I may see you. Fill my heart with your joy today! May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer! Amen
