Walking With God (1)

I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people. (Lev 26:12)

This morning God eagerly desires for you to walk with him. It doesn’t matter what you are wearing, it doesn’t matter what you have done, it doesn’t matter who is around you. God desires to be intimately present with you throughout your day. God is already walking your pathway, God already knows what your day will hold, who you will meet, who will annoy you, and who will encourage you. So will you in faith invite God to walk with you?

If in faith you believe that this universe was created by God’s command, who else would you want to walk with besides the creator of the universe, and your creator?

If in faith you believe that God exists, and that God has forgiven your sins, you can get up, take God’s hand and walk with him through your day.

When you walk with God, God will turn your hearts towards himself and will help you walk in obedience to him.

When you in faith invite God to walk with you today, you will know God’s pleasure. For without faith it is impossible to please God. We are told that Enoch walked with God, and then one day he was not to be found, for God took him away. We don’t know anything else about Enoch’s life except that he enjoyed an intimate relationship with God, and because of his intimate relationship with God he was commended as one who pleased God.

God is intimately aware of you, your life, your circumstances, your energy levels. Choosing to walk with God, is choosing to walk with the wise. Choosing to walk with God is choosing to walk in the footsteps of Enoch, of Abraham, of David, of Noah, of the disciples, and all who have followed Christ who have gone before you.

God is walking with you! You can do this, don’t put yourself down. God is walking with you – you know what you need to do, you know when you need to speak and when you need to remain silent. Trust God to accomplish his eternal purposes.

God sees your heart – God is with you, go and boldly step out in faith.

God sees the dreams in your heart, God placed them there! Yes this world is big scary place, but God says you don’t have to walk through those dreams alone, God longs to walk with you as your pursue your dreams. God will bring people with flesh and blood to walk beside you as you pursue your dreams.

Prayer: Father, today I choose to walk with you. Thank you that are present in every meeting and every task I do. Amen.

    Blessings
